We’re Hiring! Join the PROCON Project as WFIPP Communications & Coordination Lead (WP5 & WP6)

The World Federation for Incontinence and Pelvic Problems (WFIPP) is looking for a dedicated and proactive Coordinator to take over a key role in the Erasmus+ PROCON Project – Promoting Continence Care in Nursing Homes.

This position focuses on project communication, coordination, and impact monitoring, with involvement in two strategic work packages:

  • WP5 – Dissemination, Communication and Exploitation (WFIPP is Lead Partner)
  • WP6 – Quality Assurance and Sustainability (WFIPP is Core Partner)

You will be working with a dynamic consortium of 12 international partners, helping drive innovation and sustainability in continence care across Europe.

About the PROCON Project

PROCON (Promoting Continence Care in Nursing Homes) is a European Erasmus+ initiative aimed at:

  • Improving the quality of continence care in long-term care (LTC) settings,
  • Empowering nurses and caregivers through innovative training, guidelines, and digital tools,
  • Promoting person-centred, cost-effective, and dignity-based care,
  • Creating Virtual Communities of Practice (VCOPs) for sustainable professional exchange.

Key project themes:

  • Reducing stigma around incontinence,
  • Promoting autonomy and dignity of older adults,
  • Enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration in LTC settings.

Your Responsibilities

In WP5 – Dissemination, Communication and Exploitation:

  • Coordinate internal and external communication activities,
  • Manage and grow project visibility on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and the website,
  • Draft and coordinate the project newsletter via MailChimp (content, partner input, mailing),
  • Support preparation and tracking of dissemination deliverables (e.g. D5.1, D5.2),
  • Collaborate closely with Eurocentro (WP5 lead) on strategy, visual identity, and stakeholder engagement,
  • Organize or support local/national multiplier events.

In WP6 – Quality Assurance and Sustainability:

  • Contribute to internal quality reviews and sustainability planning,
  • Assist with documentation of partner contributions and evaluation reporting,
  • Support the update of Deliverable 6.1 (scheduled for Month 15 and 31),
  • Ensure communication deliverables meet quality and Erasmus+ guidelines.

Email Communication

  • Manage the official PROCON email address (linked to the website and newsletter sign-up),
  • Respond to or redirect inquiries to the right WP leaders or stakeholders,
  • Maintain smooth and timely external communication.

Platforms You’ll Manage or Support

  • LinkedIn (public page): https://www.linkedin.com/company/procon-project
  • LinkedIn VCOP group: Support moderation and expert engagement
  • Instagram (@procon_project): Create and post content (Canva or similar tools)
  • YouTube (PROCON channel): Coordinate publishing of future educational videos
  • Project Website: https://www.proconproject.eu – Add updates and news items in collaboration with Eurocentro

Other Coordination Duties

  • Act as WFIPP’s main representative and contact point within the consortium,
  • Liaise with external experts and help validate project outputs,
  • Coordinate and document updates in line with the Proposal Rules,
  • Maintain content on external platforms (e.g. GOLTC),
  • Provide support in toolkit development (in cooperation with WP3).

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in EU-funded project communication or coordination,
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills (English),
  • Confidence using digital tools (LinkedIn, Canva, MailChimp, Microsoft Teams),
  • Interest in public health, long-term care, or continence care is a plus,
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international team.

 Practical Information

  • Start date: August 2025
  • Location: Remote (EU-based preferred), with occasional travel
  • Contract type: Freelance/consultant or part-time agreement (depending on profile)
  • Language: English (working language of the project)
