WFIPP has taken part in the Functional Urology course organized in Madrid, 28th and 29th January 2021, by the Sociedad Iberoamericana de Neurourologia y Uroginecologia.
On behalf of WFIPP, President Mary Lynne van Poelgeest spoke about the Digital Platform ‘ Support In Continence’ and in particular the recently launched Spanish version.
This during the session on 28th January specifically dedicated to presenting the Patient Perspective and very well attended by over 100 delegates, 75 of whom were healthcare professionals and some 40 + patient representatives.
The session itself was vibrant and dynamic, with presentations by patients and healthcare professionals. This despite the hybrid nature of the course, with most delegates and speakers taking part virtually from both Spain and Latin America.  To give some idea of the flavour and atmosphere of this brilliant event, here is the video link to view the 2nd roundtable event in which we participated.

This was a most informative event with a variety of topics which can be seen from the actual programme.

We will see if we can share some of the presentations when they become available.

WFIPP has now established a very pleasant and permanent rapport with SINUG and via our member organization InconASIA who also presented during the course.
The thread throughout the course ‘Professionals and Patients together’ was resulted in this ongoing collaboration which is an example to others to follow suit.
WFIPP is looking forward to following through with our newly established partnership with SINUG, InconASIA and of course the individuals who are the lifeblood of the organization.

Thank you SINUG, thank you IconASIA
