Continence care for long-term residents has largely remained unchanged since the 1990s, despite profound changes in the long-term care population. Research points out deficiencies in education, awareness, attitudes, best practice and the long-term care environment. Isnβt it time to do something to change things? Hear what others are doing and about the direction of travel from a group of interested front line clinicians and researchers who have come together to change continence care and its delivery for the better quality of life of older adults. π
The webinar will cover:
1. Introduction and welcome (Adelina Comas-Herrera, Care Policy and Evaluation Centre (CPEC), LSE, UK)
2. Introduction to the Interest Group (Javier Jerez-Roig, University of Vic-Central University of Catalonia)
