Around 60 million Europeans suffer from continence health problems. This not only affects the quality of life of patients and their families/carers but also has a significant impact on national health systems, European economy and environment. The EU Continence Health Summit is part of the Urge to Act campaign and will address the need for action by policymakers to tackle continence health problems in the EU.

What can you expect?
The results of a socio-economic report on the total costs of incontinence to society, the economy and the environment in the EU will be presented and discussed by a panel of high-level EU officials, researchers, patients and healthcare professionals. All stakeholders will sign the EU Continence Health Manifesto, which features ten calls to action for EU policymakers to act upon. The full programme of the summit can be viewed here.
