AMR Online Course 2025: How to advocate on AMR for your community

The European Patients’ Forum (EPF) is launching a new online course to equip patient communities with the knowledge and the tools to successfully advocate on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).

Empowered patients have an important role to play in the fight against AMR. Patients are most at risk of AMR due to a weakened immune system and/or the frequent use of antibiotics in healthcare procedures.

The course includes four modules held online in the format of webinars:

• Module 1: “The science behind AMR” – 3 September 2025
• Module 2: “How does AMR affect patients?” – 1 October 2025
• Module 3: “Shortages of existing and new antibiotics” – 5 November 2025
• Module 4: “Advocacy: “Make EPF campaign on AMR, your campaign!” – 3 December 2025
