The current pandemic is placing a huge strain on health systems, worldwide it forced to adapt and sometimes innovate care management: what are the lessons learned? What has been done by the civic society and Patient Advocacy Groups to face this difficult situation? The 2021 conference will have a twofold structure, focused on showing and discussing good examples of citizen’s engagement in health policies in this particular historical moment: a first day, dedicated to the health challenges faced by non-COVID patients and a second day, focused on the resilience of the Healthcare Systems during and after the pandemic. The Conference will be held during the Italian’s Presidency of the G20, just before the World Health Summit that will be held in Rome on the 21st of May 2021.
